Did you know that hunger is still an issue for some in Durham? At the end of September eight MI employees volunteered their time to appear in a video promoting Neighbors Feeding Neighbors, an organization that helps fight hunger.
And Neighbors Feeding Neighbors has made it easy for all of us to help feed our community. On October 16th simply dine at any of the partner restaurants which have agreed to donate 10% of their proceeds to the Durham CROP Hunger Walk. By eating at a partner restaurant you’ll be donating to Durham’s local hunger fighting agencies and Church World Services.
Help fight hunger by eating lunch with a friend, your family or coworkers. It’s that simple.
